• September 25  - 100 Women in Hedge Funds held its annual charity gala in London last night. (Press Release.) European fundraising activities, including the London Gala, have raised £635,000 ($1.2 million) for our 2008 European beneficiary, Wellbeing of Women, a charity focused on research and education benefitting the health of families in the UK and beyond.
   
• September 4 - 100 Women in Hedge Funds celebrated the end of summer with a Charity Garden Party in Geneva for more than 200 hedge fund industry guests. Over 75,000 Swiss Francs was raised with proceeds going to support Wellbeing of Women, the 2008 beneficiary of all 100 Women in Hedge Funds' European philanthropic efforts. Wellbeing of Women is a UK-based charity dedicated to solving health issues that affect women and ultimately children too.
   
• August 4 - 100 Women in Hedge Funds' Board of Directors has named Ken Langone, philanthropist, financial backer and co-founder of The Home Depot to receive its 2008 Effecting Change Award at its New York Gala on November 19, 2008. For full details please read the press release.
